RECIPE: Chicken Bundles

RECIPE: Chicken Bundles

Back to Pinterest for more interesting food ideas for this week.  I wanted something quick, easy and light (since my amazing neighbors filled me up with ribs and all the fixins’ at lunch).  I’ve actually made these amazing bundles a few times before and like many of the commenters on the original blog post for the recipe (which you can find here at Quick and Easy Dinner ) I have found that I like to switch it up a bit and add different flavors.  It’s a great recipe for a quick, light meal and of course for leftover lunches through the week. Forget the shadows, they are amazing! Ingredients:4 oz. cream cheese, softened1-13 oz. can chicken (or equivalent cooked chicken, rotisserie chicken, etc – I just cooked some chicken breast in a bit of chicken broth because well, flavor)1/2 Tbs. sesame seeds2 cans crescent rolls – leave in fridge until […]

GoodReads Monday

GoodReads Monday

Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Lauren’s Page Turners. To take part, you simply choose a random book from your TBR and show it off. Don’t forget to check out her blog and link back to Lauren’s Page Turners. I read the first book in this series two years ago and this one has continued to sit on the ‘please read me’ bookcase every since.  I love Luanne Rice (or at least the books of hers I’ve read so far but still…) so this shouldn’t be too difficult to work into my reading rotation.  I say this as I have about 10 review books waiting impatiently for their turn as well…but ya know. On the windswept coast of Nova Scotia, two friends and their young daughters have found refuge in the rugged community of Cape Hawk. Lily Malone and nine-year-old Rose are making a new home with a […]
