I’m somehow drawn to challenges. Song challenges, writing challenges, Sims challenges, just about any challenge. While tossing around blog ideas with my partner in crime the idea to do a monthly challenge came up. I was hesitant to move this to the blog but then tossed it up and said ‘why not?’. Here you have it, my first 30 Day Challenge.
Every day this month I’ll post a Gratefulness or Gratitude prompt. I’d really enjoy hearing your input on this prompt as well in the comments below. Today’s prompt:
Good Golly Molly, these are sometimes so hard and I wish I’d studied ahead. There are so many options available, I mean literally books and books of verses and verses to choose from. There are the obvious choices that everyone knows. John 3:26, Philippians 4:13, 1 Corinthians 13, Psalms 23, Proverbs 31, Ruth 1, I could keep going. I’m gonna just pick on. Just pick a random bookmark from my YouVersion app. There are plentiful to choose from.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (NIV).
Good gravy think for just a minute. We don’t have to do anything, we don’t have to be perfect, we don’t even have to get it ‘right’. We just have to be still, be open, and accept that fact right there. We will never be perfect or right. But we are loved. We just have to accept that love.
Your turn! Share a favorite Bible verse or passage you are grateful for in the comments.
