Every day this month I’ll post a Gratefulness or Gratitude prompt. I’d really enjoy hearing your input on this prompt as well in the comments below. Today’s prompt:I’m somehow drawn to challenges. Song challenges, writing challenges, Sims challenges, just about any challenge. While tossing around blog ideas with my partner in crime the idea to do a monthly challenge came up. I was hesitant to move this to the blog but then tossed it up and said ‘why not?’. Here you have it, my first 30 Day Challenge.

There are so many options here. I love the local park where there’s places for the Minions to play, places to sit and watch the water, places to watch people, places to walk and talk and picnic and and and. Yup, our local park is pretty much all that. But I also love the lake. The hideaway spots to sit at night and watch the stars. The spots where you can just sit and be still with the water. Well and swimming because, swimming. There’s flat bridge, Sunset Park and even the old iron bridge. Come to think, not even sure you can get out there anymore. Those were all college staples, and all involve water. Go figure. I love dirt roads and trips with no destination and water. All of that aside I have to say the local spot I am currently most grateful for is my front porch. It’s a place to relax in the summer. To read a book, talk to the neighbors, when the Minions are here a place for to watch them run around and play. It’s a place for sidewalk chalk and bubbles.
